I've suddenly realized that an awful lot of people that type crap on websites and forums are complete and utter twats, racists and losers.

Yes, I understand that that includes me. - well the twat and loser part anyways.

But what's most worrying is that I've come to realize that these views are not just the nonsensical babbling's of nerds. Some of these people feel secure in letting their real identities be know. What losers! (Speaking of course from the perspective of an actual 'loser' in the traditional sense of the word).

I admit I talk an awful lot of rubbish. But it's harmless rubbish. World War 1, time travel, monkey's, pigs, ugly babies - you know what Jesus Budda's about.

Jesus Budda has no aspirations above telling lies about stupid crap. What you see is what you get. (Don't you just hate it when someone speaks of them self in the third-person. Jesus Budda hates that)

Politics, elections, banking mess-ups: Jesus Budda could give a sh*t about them.

Jesus Budda is never vicious about ordinary folk.

Now you're probably thinking "what the hell is this idiot talking about? Where are the ugly baby pictures?". Well the thing is that I can't stand people (human beings, that is) getting worked up about things that just don't really matter.

Take emigration/immigration for instance. Whiners going on and on (not Jesus Budda) about the amount of foreigners coming into a country and 'stealing' their jobs, houses, money, furniture, etc.

Get the fuck! (Oh no, not the 'foreigners. You stay where you are. I'm referring to the whiners here).

So long as no one steals your actual posessions or tries to hurt you or your loved ones physically you shouldn't give a damn.

Moan, moan, moan. "All my taxes going towards you buying drugs and killing kittens!", they cry.

Fuck off, fool. Your beloved taxes are there because you put up with a system of government that creates them. Don't like the system? Well then get the fuck out or get rid of your government!

The World is a big place (I've seen the atlas) but humans are such needy little fuckers that they can't help cramming in together in tight spaces. And when they're (I say 'they' because I am not a human after all) all clumped together they suddenly start wondering what happens next. What should they do?

Fools are all talking and chattering amongst each other that nobody knows what's going on. Some tosser decides it'd be better if they all spoke in turn. Trouble is that there's so many people that it'd take a hundred billion years to just listen to what each has to say - and time is not on their side. Especially Tony's side.

I think I'll insert an image here to break up the flow of this magnificent rant.

Now, back to the rant.

When was the last time a government 'spoke' on your behalf? The last time you got something out of a government policy. I' don't care what country/region you're from, it doesn't matter.

While you're scratching your head I'll continue.

Nobody likes government or politicians. Everybody hates them Even politicians hate them Then why in hell do people put up with them?!

Oh, the country would collapse if they weren't there.

Why the hell - after all the centuries of human achievement in science, technology and medicine - do people still accept the way things are.

5-day working week? Why? Why 5 days? Religion isn't as important any more, so all that Sabbath rest-day malarkey shouldn't apply. Why not make it a full 7-day week? Go the whole hog.

24-hour day? Make it 70. Fuck the Sun! If it keeps people from thinking and more time 'doing' then it's gotta make things run smoother? Shouldn't it?

When Jesus Budda thinks of the animal world he sees that, generally, things balance themselves out: the queen bee gets treated like a queen (how fitting for a Queen bee) and has the attention of millions to care for her. But the downside is she can never leave the hive.

There should always be a downside to power, luxury and control.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to apply to humans.

I will finish this rant with another picture. It's of a dancing cat. I think it illustrates my point perfectly. ('purrfectly' for those who like puns or are retarded)

What is the International Law Competition “Youth for Peace“ ?

The International Law Competition “Youth for Peace” is held among the law students from different countries on yearly basis.

Who is the Organizer of the International Law Competition “Youth for Peace“ ?

International Institute of Labor and Social Relations.

How is the Competition conducted? What are the criteria for selection?

The Competition is conducted in the form of a role play. The participants are offered a wide range of problems and situations to which they are to provide solutions using their decision-making skills. During the Competition the main criteria for choosing the best team and the best speaker are the following:
• knowledge of international humanitarian law;
• knowledge of international public law;
• ability to put theory into practice;
• ability to support their viewpoint;
• ability to react to different situations;
• teamwork

Who can participate in this event?

Teams consisting of three (3) students who represent a University or any other institution of higher education. Each University can be represented only by one team. Participation of mixed teams (interuniversity) is allowed. Repeated participation is not allowed.

After the submission of the application form it can be modified only by the permission of the Committee.

What are the stages/rounds of the Competition?

The Competition consists of two main stages: Preliminary round and Final Round in Minsk, which are divided into several stages.

Preliminary round.
In order to be selected for the participation in the Competition, the applicants are required to write 2 essays (max 1000 and 500 words). No less than fifteen (15) teams will be chosen. However, the final decision as to the number of teams will be made by the OC. These teams will participate in the Final Round on May, 18-22, 2009 in Minsk, Belarus.

How can I participate in this Competition?

In order to participate in the Competition you need to send an application form with answers for the Preliminary round task. This task is writing 2 essays.

The topics of essays of the Preliminary Round are:
• “International humanitarian law in globalization context”;
• General Issues.

The application forms and essays should be sent to the OC by e-mail before the deadline.

When will the results of the Preliminary Round be known?

The Committee will announce the results of the Preliminary Round till February, 2, 2009. Afterwards further information will be sent to the selected participants of the Competition.

What are the working languages of the Competition?

The working languages of the Competition are English and Russian (simultaneous translation will be provided).

How is the Final round conducted?

At the beginning of the Final Round a set of documents and an outline of a case will be given to each team. New information can be provided during the Competition.

The participants can use any sources of information and equipment except for communication facilities (i.e. mobile phones).

At the end of the Competition the judges select the best team, best speaker, best essay and best antiwar poster.

What are deadlines?

Deadlines:
February, 2, 2009 – deadline for submission of application forms (Appendix 1, 2) and essays
(Appendix 3);
till February, 16, 2009 – all teams will be notified by e-mail about the results of the selection Preliminary Round);
till March, 9, 2009 – all finalists must confirm their intention in participation.
May, 18-22, 2009 – Final Round in Minsk, Belarus.

How much does the participation cost?

Registration fee:
150 EURO per team – for teams from CIS countries;
300 EURO per team – for other countries.

The following costs are covered by the fee:
• participation in the Competition;
• accommodation (5 days/4 nights);
• three meals a day;
• exciting sightseeing and entertainment program.

All other expenses are covered by the participants themselves including travel expenses, telephone calls, extra beverages and etc.

Registration fee is paid by the participants of the Final round upon their arrival in Minsk.

Visa support will be provided for all foreign teams.

How can I send the application form?

Submission of the Application Form:
The application includes the following documents:
- team registration form (Appendix 1);
- student registration form (Appendix 2);
- completed task for the Preliminary Round (Appendix 3).

Ternyata topik diknas memang sedang memanas di dunia maya. Tinggal tunggu waktu tersebar di media cetak, menurut salah satu blog. Ya, siapa yang tidak kesal atau marah saat mendapati bahwa ternyata diknas mengekspos informasi pribadi pelajar di Indonesia mulai dari tingkat SD hingga Perguruan Tinggi. Data pribadi para siswa/i berbentuk file xls tersebut dapat dengan mudah diunduh oleh siapapun yang ingin melihatnya. Selain, tentu saja, hal itu adalah sebuah pelanggaran privasi, tidakkah dapat mengundang kejahatan dalam berbagai bentuk?

Bukankah diknas berisikan para pendidik yang seharusnya tahu bahwa tidak ada alasan yang dapat dibenarkan untuk mengekspos informasi pribadi tanpa seijin pemiliknya? Duh, mungkin waktu rapat mengenai hal ini, para pendidik itu ketiduran semua kali ye...

Saya telah mencoba mengunduhnya untuk membuktikan benarkah dapat semudah itu kita mendapatkan data siswa/i di Indonesia? Ternyata benar. Memang ada beberapa sekolah/ perguruan tinggi yang masih berupa file kosong. Namun sebagian besar terisi lengkap nama, nomor induk, serta alamat rumah mereka!

Beberapa orang telah menyuarakan keberatan mereka langsung kepada para petinggi diknas. Mari turut serta menyuarakan dukungan dalam media apapun agar hal ini segera dihentikan.

One of the most obvious careers that will typically pop into the minds of people who are thinking about crimes would be the profession of a police officer.  This is a very well respected field and does not require as much training and schooling as some other fields might.  Applicants will need to be tested in a number of ways prior to being offered a position, and in some more urban and populated areas there is a more desperate need for qualified police officers.  As a result, there is slightly more competition than there may be in a small town that is looking to hire police officers.

A drug policy advisor needs to do many things depending on their field of concentration.  Some of these advisors need to be able to look at trends and crimes over a period of time, and then weigh this information against the rest of the information that the individual has needed to research.  In some cases, this can include the number of deaths as a result of the drug and the number of violent crimes that have taken place in an area involving the drug as an instigator in the crime.  By looking at this information, and also at how much annually is spent on the drug for different demographics, a drug policy advisor can make some suggestions regarding the medication or drug.  Sometimes there are no negative repercussions as a result of the drug, but in other cases policies need to be put in place in order to place restrictions for the good of the public and the welfare of citizens.

Other productive careers also include crime intelligence analysts, advocates on behalf of the consumer, private crime prevention leaders, and individuals that are working corrections.  These many careers require different and specific levels of schooling before the individual candidate can be seen as qualified for the job.  Cost of education varies depending on where an individual attends school in order to receive their education and how long they are required to their university.

Careers in Criminology are not just open within the United States for individuals, but are actually located in different areas around the world.  Different laws are established by different governments, so not all individuals qualified to work in the field of Criminology within the United States could do so in other areas of the world.  Still, individuals that are qualified in different areas can broaden their search options and range by looking at careers outside their geographic location.

Let's have a look at some of the paragraphs in the report:

"Many of the politically sensitive messages logged by TOM-Skype make reference to the The Epoch Times and Falun Gong linked campaign that encourages Chinese citizens to quit the Chinese Com-munist Party (CCP).

"In 2005 the "Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP" was set up to encourage Chinese citizens to quit the CCP. This campaign uses "[t]elephone, mobile phone text messages, chat-ting online" to contact Chinese citizens and provide them with information that is critical of the CCP and highlights the persecution of the Falun Gong.

"This campaign has made extensive use of Skype including Skype "public chats" and SkypeCast.

" While the campaign uses Skype extensively, they also warn users of the filtering capabilities of the Chinese version distributed by TOM-Skype. However, many users contacted by members of the cam-paign are using TOM-Skype, resulting in numerous logged text chat messages on TOM-Skype servers in China.

"In fact, they are quite open about exactly who they are and what they are doing. Thus it is
trivial to identify users associated with the campaign.

" Without further testing we are unable to conclusively determine that the objective is surveillance rather than filtering. However, we do know that regardless of the process the full messages are being logged and could be used for surveillance. Moreover, many of these messages contain words that are too common for extensive logging, suggesting that there may be criteria, such as usernames or who one has chatted with, or particular public chats, that determine how fine-grain the logging should be."

According to the  "Quit the CCP" website (in Chinese), there are more than 43 million Chinese people announced publically to quit from the Chinese Communisty party and its affiliated organizations.

Europe, which was seen as the leader in the fight against climate change, is now fighting a war against its own in an attempt to set precedent for rest of the world and hopefully inspire developing countries to inititate their own plans to cut emissions. 

EU is now opposed to increasing the emissions reduction goal to 30 percent (from 20 percent) if Kyoto-type international treaty is signed next year. It is safe to assume that Europe's 20 percent reduction till 2020 would cover up any deal brokered at the international stage but what about Europe's credibility as the leader in fight against climate change. For several reasons Europe needs to stay ahead of the world as far as reducing emissions and moving towards renewable energy is concerned. 

• Europe has demonstrated great resolve and will to press forward with tough environmental goals and standards, that is the reason it is viewed as the leader. 

• Europe finds itself at the forefront in the geopolitical clash of the West and Russia. Russia has demonstrated that it would not hesitate in using energy as a tool to sabotage the energy supply to Europe. Therefore, energy independence become essential.

• Since the United States has so far refused to be a part of any binding emissions reduction scheme the onus falls on Europe, as a developed economy, to lead by example and pressurize the developing economies to do more to reduce their carbon emissions.
