Yesterday he decided to chuck all his toys off the side of our patio/veranda/stoop which borders a nice thick lemon tree and other bushy plants.  The house owners originally planted these bush/tree/monsters so that I wouldn't fall off.  Those who follow this blog know that I am prone to such strange happenings.  Needless to say I did not fall off, no, I decided to crawl off instead.

So I got on to my stomach and did my best Army/Police Academy crawl off the patio just missing the branches (they were trying to attack me).  The gap is small and I am a big human.  As I start over the edge what does pooch decide to do? Yip you got it, he decided that I was playing with him and thought that my butt was the target, he bit down nice and hard.  Listen, it wasn't as if I was purposefully shaking it about saying "bite me bite me", it wobbles ALL on its own!

Naturally my reaction was to yelp and jerk away from him. Let me just say jerking away from a playful biting ass dog just under a thorny lemon tree is not recommended.  A mouthful of leaves and twigs later I reach solid ground once more.  I spat out the foliage and continued on my mission, retrieved the toys with a sense of accomplishment and returned to the gap to climb back through.

So here is where it gets interesting.  Yip, the pooch again. 

Pooch was obviously worried for my safety and when I appeared once more in the "crack" between the bushes and the patio he got so excited that he gave me a big fat lick on my chops.  Normally I would not get a fright but what you must understand is that I was in the process  of pulling moves that would amaze world champion gymnasts! 

The fright of the lick sent me spiraling backwards impaling myself on the  lemon tree.  The lemon tree was so excited to see me that it then decided to attack me with its thorny talons!  A normal person would possibly be calm once they find themselves in the monsters grip but no, not me, I jerk breaking off it's talons of thorns in my head.

Hearing a new language flow from my mouth the pooch now gets really worried and desperate.  He starts tugging me and doing his rescue thang by pulling me up and away from the monster lemon tree.  He obviously had a bad reaction to seeing me impaled and the whole rescue effort on his part sent him off the deep end.  He proceeded to see if I was ok by both licking me and biting down on my ankles and arms to make sure that they weren't broken (or something).

Eventually free of both the pooch and the monster tree I sit down once more with a cup of coffee and the faint smell of lemons.  When I put my fingers on my scalp I started cursing the fact that I did not have the treasure map.  each time I put my hands though my hair I found another thorn embedded.  That THING had quite literally stabbed me laving proof. 

So far I have found 6 embedded thorns, finished half a tub of that cream that pulls them out and a sheepish looking grin.

This is the secret of how I was attacked by the lemon tree monster and survived.  Let it try and attack me again and I'll show it who's boss!

No I can't ask someone to pull the thorns out because

a) They will want to attack me with needles

b) They have needles

c) I know they will want to use needles

d) I have the thickest head of hair you probably have ever seen, it aint happening.

As for the bruise on my butt, well lets just say its a good thing no one see's me without attire because it looks mighty odd and would most definitely bring about the most interesting of questions.

While browsing through my local nursery yesterday, looking for herbs and ground covers for our 2 new planter boxes, I found this!!!

There was only one thing left for me to do.

I accept that it might not thrive, but I sure am going to try my darndest to make sure it does, dogganggit!

A sheepish text message to man informs him of this brazen breech of trust, and I spend the rest of my afternoon watching my new lemon tree grow. :)

I have also scattered some rocket and lettuce seeds around my new best friend to keep it company, so fingers crossed for my new harvest!

Além das delícias culinárias que o limão nos proporciona, pude conferir - numa breve retomada à vida de cinéfilo, nos últimos dias - uma nova faceta das boas coisas que esse fruto nos proporciona. Desta vez, a obra foi cinematográfica: Lemon Tree (Etz Limon), do diretor israelente Eran Riklis.

Já tinha lido várias críticas sobre o filme e fiquei muito ansioso pra ver. Mas a película demorou a chegar aqui em Brasília e, quando me toquei, já estava saindo de cartaz. Restavam apenas duas sessões na Academia de Tênis e corri pra ver, sábado passado.

Sou um tanto suspeito pra falar, mas qualquer boker tov ou shalom já me empolga, pelo meu fascínio pela cultura judaica e pela língua hebraica. Tentei conter minha emoção um tanto quanto infantil e segui em silêncio, assistindo à história (também recheada de diálogos árabes).

Lemon Tree expressa o conflito corrente na região da Cisjordânia, entre árabes e judeus, que tentam coexistir num mesmo território, a despeito dos focos de guerra que podem estourar a qualquer momento, em qualquer lugar. E, no filme, o campo de batalha é um limoeiro. Nada de tiros, bombas, mortes... A guerra é construída na delicadeza das palavras, das emoções, dos gestos, dos olhares e no embate que se cria em torno de crenças e paixões.

Salma é uma palestina que desde a sua infância cultiva limões num pomar plantado por seu pai, 50 anos atrás. Solitária, ela tem no pomar sua única fonte de renda e alegria.

Israel Navon é o Ministro da Defesa do Estado de Israel e decide se mudar para uma casa em frente à de Salma: em frente ao limoeiro. Preocupado com a segurança de sua esposa, Mira, o ministro vê (pelo diagnóstico do Mossad) o pomar como um possível esconderijo de terroristas e, portanto, um risco.

Inicia-se, daí, um embate entre o braço forte e o elo fraco, entre Israel Navon e Salma, em que o primeiro tenta destruir a plantação e a segunda busca defendê-la com todo o seu fôlego. O conflito ganha a mídia internacional, toma proporções imensas e transcende o embate pela destruição ou manutenção do pomar: desperta sentimentos, amizades, paixões, empatia, distanciamento, preconceito, compreensão e muitos olhares.

Recomendo o filme e o tenho como uma das boas obras cinematográficas de minha lista. Daquele limoeiro saiu, com certeza, uma deliciosa limonada, como a que Salma prepara sempre, para todos que a visitam.

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

É nessa diferenças que está a possibilidade de mudança do mundo, para melhor.

O filme se baseia numa história verídica e conta as mudanças na vida de Salma - uma mulher palestina super simples e pobre, que sobrevive graças aos limões do seu limoeiro que vende, quando o ministro de defesa de israel passa a ser seu vizinho. O problema todo está no fato de o serviço secreto israelense considerar os limoeiros uma ameaça à segurança da família do primeiro ministro. Salma acaba entrando com um recurso contra o Estado de Israel para manter os seus limoeiros.

Por que gostei? Gostei muito porque o filme aborda várias questões de uma maneira muito bacana e NEUTRA. Dá a sensação que todo mundo tem um pouco de razão e por isso é tão difícil ter um desfecho justo!

On another note, my sweet husband got us a lemon tree for our anniversary/birthday present. The traditional gift for the 1st year of marriage is paper and we interpreted as a tree! What a great interpretation I think. It's an Eureka lemon tree and I believe it's around 2 years old. We planted it in the front of our house that gets afternoon sun. I hope it grows into a productive tree since lemons cost an arm and a leg these days! Here's hoping... Well that's all folks, happy gardening!

The left has stooped even lower to achieve increasing their own power. The left has moved into the lowest level of human depravity by hacking Sarah Palin's emails. But make no mistake they can and probably will go lower to get the power they want. I am not making any assumptions about the Obama campaign at this time. But I do think that he should denounce immediately such actions.

If these leftist types get into the White House we can expect more of the same!

In the latest of a series of invasions into Sarah Palin’s personal life, hackers have broken into the Republican vice presidential candidate’s private e-mail account, and a widely read Web site has published screen grabs from it.

An article Wednesday in Gawker.com posts family photos and snapshots of e-mail exchanges the Alaska governor had with colleagues. Gawker says the-email account has since been shut down, but it will leave the images up on its site for all to see.

Rick Davis, campaign manager for John McCain, released a statement calling the publication a “shocking invasion of the governor’s privacy and a violation of law.”

“The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these e-mails will destroy them. We will have no further comment,” Davis said. (Fox News)

Hacking e-mail is a federal crime. A TV anchor who broke into his colleague’s e-mail account recently pleaded guilty and faces a maximum five years in prison.

Sem dúvida, qualquer regime ou governo que apóie violações de direitos humanos deve ser denunciado e criticado. Contudo, acho estranho uma porção de jornalistas e "formadores de opinião" se tornarem, tão subitamente, defensores ardorosos dos direitos humanos em território chinês. Afinal, seria muita ingenuidade acreditar que a realização de Jogos Olímpicos na China, por si só, faça, do nada, uma porção de adeptos abraçarem a luta por direitos humanos.

E já que muitos andam falando em boicote, que tal começar as críticas pelo país - Estados Unidos da América - cujo governo mais causa e causou mortes no mundo inteiro, principalmente na parte que habitamos dele, a América Latina? Por que nenhum desses súbitos campeões da liberdade e dos direitos humanos critica Israel e propõe boicote esportivo a este país, como se fez com a África do Sul nos anos 1980?

Por falar em Palestina e Israel, há um ótimo filme em cartaz no Rio (e, suponho, em algumas outras cidades): Lemon Tree. Um olhar humano, crítico e, em vários momentos, bem-humorado sobre o cotidiano palestino face à ocupação israelense. Além disso, um belo filme sobre as relações humanas.

ENCARNAÇÃO DO DEMÔNIO
Zé do Caixão volta e em grande estilo, com orçamento generoso, figurino de Alexandre Herchcovitch e muito, muito sangue. É a terceira parte da trilogia do personagem (que começou em 64, com À Meia-Noite Levarei sua Alma e Esta Noite Encarnarei no Teu Cadáver, de 67). Segundo consta, Mojica não conseguiu filmar na época por perseguição da censura. Em suma, o personagem sai da prisão econtinua sua busca da mulher perfeita para gerar um filho, 40 anos depois. Mojica é simples e direto, e nisso ele é mestre no seu gênero e estilo. E merece respeito, mesmo que você não curta o gênero.

A CAÇADA
Mistura de drama e comédia de humor negro, sobre jornalistas que saem ao encalço de um criminoso de guerra na Bósnia. O elenco conta com Terrence Howard (o amigo militar do Homem de Ferro) e Richard Gere. O diretor é o mesmo do ótimo O Matador (outro de humor negro, um dos melhores trabalhos do ex-007 Pierce Brosnan), e há a bela Diane Kruger (de Tróia). Recomenda-se uma espiada.

O GRANDE DAVE
Comédia com Eddie Murphy que, pelo trailer, continua careteiro como sempre. Mesmo quando era um grande astro de bilheteria, sempre foi preciso curtir seu estilo, antes da história. Aqui ele faz vários papéis, sobre uns pequenos alienígenas que chegam na Terra numa nave com formato de ser humano (!).

ASTERIX NOS JOGOS OLÍMPICOS
Superprodução (a mais cara já feita na França) com os clássicos personagens criados por René Goscinny e Albert Uderzo. Desta vez eles satirizam as olimpíadas com tudo que tem direito, inclusive vários astros fazendo ponta (o jogador Zidane, o piloto Schumacher). Diversão garantida.

MAIS DO QUE VOCÊ IMAGINA
Comédia co-produzida pelos EUA e Alemanha, com a sumida Meg Ryan e Antonio Banderas. Ela é a mãe de um agente do FBI que vigia um ladrão de arte, justamente o novo namorado dela (Banderas). Parece uma sessão da tarde, mas pelo menos o elenco é conhecido.

VIOLÊNCIA EM FAMÍLIA
Drama australiano, sobre uma mãe solteira que planeja matar o pai da sua filha, quando ele lhe ameaça tirar a guarda da criança. Indicado a vários prêmios na Austrália.

LEMON TREE
Drama co-produção de Israel, Alemanha e França, do mesmo diretor de A Noiva Síria (Eran Riklis) e com a mesma atriz (Hiam Abbass). Premiado em Berlim este ano, como o título já diz, é sobre uma plantação de limões, motivo de disputa entre vizinhos (um deles o ministro de defesa de Israel).

Começa nesta terça-feira [05.08.2008] o 12º Festival de Cinema Judaico. Serão exibidos ao todo 35 filmes, distribuídos por cinco diferentes salas da cidade de São Paulo.

As informações são de Sérgio Rizzo, crítico da Folha (...). Para o crítico, um dos destaques é "Lemon Tree", uma das 11 produções israelenses que fazem parte do festival. Ele informa que o lançamento do filme em circuito comercial está previsto para sexta-feira [08.08.2008].

It was like a lucky number 7!  So that brings me to my next "goal".......I will be leaving Wordpress.  Yep, I have decided that Wordpress isn't quite the right fit for me.  I'm not knocking it, it just doesn't allow me to be as "creative" as I'd like.  There are not as many options and bells and whistles.  I will be making the move to Blogspot!  I know that many of you are already there and I hope it's as easy as you all make it look!  My GOAL is to be there, up and running by next Friday, June 18th.  Which means....if you currently have me on your blogroll (thank you ♥ so much!), you will have to update your link to find lil 'ol me.   I will keep you up to date!

Speaking of dates, my little fireball had a date with a newfound love:  toilet paper...

She discovered it on one of her little journeys through the house.  Should I have scolded her?  Nah, not this time.....I saw it more as a scrapbook layout!  Is it horrible to think I could never ever scold her?  I know that day will come, but in her little 8 months of life, I think I'm happiest being the pushover!

And on the exciting news front....are you prepared to be super jealous??  Well.....do you remember waaaay back when.....when I posted RIGHT HERE about Savannah Lane Designs??  She was this newbie etsian ready to share her beautiful hats with the world....and I had her create this amazing "rainbow" hat for Lilyana....

and then she was even sweet enough to credit me with the rainbow color scheme...check it out: here!

Doug McCoy a trail angel picked me up at the train station. He is a great resource for the Okeechobee area and always extends a warm hand. This is where  I stopped my hike two years ago so I was very familiar with the goodness of Doug and where I needed to begin.

He picked me up at the train around 5 p.m. and let me off at the Oketani Trail Head about 10 miles from the train. Here at the trail head is a restaurant. If I wanted I could have gotten an exotic meal of alligator burgers and other animals  if I remember correctly. I wasn't hungry though and was raring to go on the trail.

I waved goodbye to Doug gave him and his kids  some Lightload Towels which they loved. They are avid outdoor adventurers too.

I started out on the trail which was a dyke which went straight ahead for about 20 miles following the famed Kissimee River. I had everything I needed but the map 36 from the Florida Trail Association; this was the map of this section. Anyway I figured if I just kept straight ahead something would look familiar and then I could make decisions from that.

Even on moonless nights the dyke walking is easy and exciting. The white sand lit up the trail and I didnt need a light. I walked that night well into the night. You can also see the start of a car light 10 or 15 miles ahead. Even though it looks close it will take a long time to get to you. When the car finally does come by I like to duck on the other side of the dyke out of the way. I do this also when I come up to camps so as not to disturb them or be noticed.  I have even passed whole towns with this strategy at night.

I finally sat down on the sand at about eight o'clock within earshot of a boat with it's lites blaring and occupants whooping it up. I just sat there out of site and heard them having fun drinking and talking. i decided that this would be a good place to camp and just set up below the dyke. I set up my freestanding Sierra Designs tent that was new and had a pleasant sleep inside. The next morning the boat was gone never knowing I was so close to them.

My gear included a 15 degree bag, picnic knife, two flashlights-one Princeton tec head light and the other a key chain light, every map of the trail, two books one on meditation and the other a popular John Grishom novel, long silk underwear, two pairs of wool socks one Connemara(i picked up In Ireland) the other Smart Wool, Two raincoats one a large plastic from Wilcor International and the other a real delicate plastic that I really didn't need, Two leki hiking poles my keys money, receipts and credit cards, short cargo pants for hiking and long cargo for the trip to and from  cold New York. A polyester capillene hiking shirt from Patagonia, a thai silk button down shirt for towns, and a wool hat from Nepal,  puff ball coat from Patagonia and a polyester sweat shirt. My boots were light hikers from vasque, some lightload Towels,  alot of dry foods( I only cooked one meal on my alcohol Trangia stove) My pack was a granite gear and I had a bungee cord a first aid kit and some floss plus a tooth brush and tooth paste. I also had a tent tyvek ground cloth that I used on my AT Thru Hike in 1999 and two nalgene water bottles, plus iodine tabs for cleaning the drinking water.

I swear, if I keep finding edible fabrics like these hoots, I am going to go BROKE!!!! 

Now, seriously, aren't these little fellas soooo cute it hurts??

And, I got that paper, too...I don't know which is cuter?  They BOTH hurt my eyes!

You know something super cute is gonna come out of that paper!  Wait and see!

And, I've already cut into that fabric....to make these cute jumbo tags..

Oh how fun!  I am working on things I shouldn't be!!  Do you ever do that?  You have things that HAVE to get done, maybe a special order or things around the house...but...then you get something new and yummy and you just gotta dive in and CREATE something??  That's how I am, I can't help it...I have always been like that...gotta have it, gotta do it--NOW!  LOL!

Someone asked about adhesives and I though it was a GREAT question...problem is, I use soo many different types, so I thought I'd share. 

My most favorite "adhesive" is my sewing machine...I use it for soooo many things, most of which is paper!

For a 3-D pop up look, I love these by Paper Studio, they're called "sticky-doos":

When I'm wanting a shiny, glossy, raised look, I loooove using this stuff called Glossy Accents:

Here's what I use when I need to glue together buttons, acrylic (as in acrylic albums), other plastic embellishments, this Quick Dry adhesive works great for me!:

These are perfect for "gluing" sheer papers (vellums, etc.):

And, sometimes I have an itching to use these sticky FLAT dots...for quick, permanent jobs (i.e. getting a small embellishment on paper--like a sequin)

I love this two way liquid glue stick because there's a small tip and then a large spongy tip on the other end...perfect for larger jobs, but BE CAREFUL not to use this stuff on anything you don't want to "wrinkle", as this will wrinkle papers as it dries.  Not bad, but noticable.

Same with this stuff, but I will use these to adhere specialty papers like corrugated cardstock or some fabrics to paper:

For everyday, all day craftin' fun, I use these mounting squares:

They are a bit more work, but they are so worth it!!  I love these...and you have to make sure to get the PERMANENT ones, not the removable (what's the point, right?).  They have filled many a scrapbook page and card....they're awesome, high quality and stay in place!  And, don't skimp when applying these babies!  The more you use the stronger and better your product.

I tried this gadget (for $10!!!!):

And I HATE it.  It's supposed to dispense those mounting tabs that I so love...well...RIGHT RIGHT!  This thing was a pain in the you know what to use and it didn't dispense the tabs where I needed and wanted them.  Clunky and too big...I would not recommend this, sorry!  I don't even know what it's called, but that's not a problem since you wont want to buy it anyways.  If you already have this thing-a-ma-jig and love it, kudos to you for puttin up with it!

WHEW!  I told ya I use lots of adhesives!

WOW.....what a weekend!  The weather here is what made everything so perfect.  Breezy, warm, sunny and NOT HUMID.  I knew there was no humidity all weekend because I didn't have to shellac my hair with THIS STUFF!  I have the world's most yucky-wavy hair that frizzes out to the high heavens any time there is a drop of moisture in the air!  The weekend was filled with lots of family time, grilling out, another trip to the zoo, fireworks, shopping, relaxing outdoors, long walks and happy times.  I'm sad it's Sunday, but grateful for the long weekend together as a family.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend, too!

Speaking of my camera, I did order another cable/cord thing and I should have it later this week...it's driving me crazy to not be able to upload pictures!!  My computer is so old school that it doesn't even have the spot to just put in the memory stick to upload.  Which also means I haven't been able to list all my NEW items in Lemon Tree!!  ARGH!

"E com este título, em inglês, que significa 'O Limoeiro'. É disso que trata a história, cuja protagonista é uma viúva, que cuida na sua propriedade de limoeiros. Ela tira o seu sustento deles, mas, a partir do momento que se muda para a casa ao lado o ministro da defesa de Israel, ela passa a enfrentar problemas, porque a equipe de segurança do ministro considera que os limoeiros oferecem perigo", explica Rizzo.

O diretor de Lemon Tree, Eran Riklis, é o mesmo de "A Noiva Síria". Os dois filmes têm um ponto de partida muito parecido, segundo o crítico. "Fala a respeito dos percalços provocados na vida de pessoas comuns, por conta da crise política no Oriente Médio", resume Rizzo.

Ele conta que Riklis vem ao Brasil para acompanhar a exibição do filme no festival e o seu lançamento comercial. Outro longa ressaltado pelo crítico é "Os Falsários", produção alemã vencedora do Oscar de melhor filme estrangeiro, dirigida por Stefan Ruzowitzky.

"Se baseia em uma história verídica, a história de Salomon Sorowitsch, um russo, judeu, que morava na Alemanha na década de 30. Foi preso porque falsificava documentos, dinheiro e, mais tarde, durante a 2ª Guerra Mundial, já num campo de concentração, ele é usado pelos nazistas para o maior projeto de falsificação de dinheiro que já houve em toda a história", conta o jornalista.
