Too Many major ISP suppliers are unacceptably guilty of initial and subsequent false misleading adve

Too Many major ISP suppliers are unacceptably guilty of initial and subsequent false misleading advertising practices, and an immoral "Bait and switch" business practice as well.

Here is the undeniable reality.. Many bad ISP corporations beforehand do not disclose the amount of capping that they do to their customers., or after wards, or lie as to much they supposedly cap. For example I have a Bell Sympatico connection or I can use a second party proxy connection, and next I get twice the download speeds with the proxy over the Bell's capped services even during the non peak hours as well, such as all day Saturday.. not just evenings 4.0 pm to 2. am when Bell admits it caps their lines. Now that is a fact any potential bell customer should know now too.

"AP Sun Jun 15, 9:45 AM ET At one time, the word "unlimited" meant unlimited.

Sprint's mobile broadband service is the latest to abandon the term and the principle in favor of a monthly cap designed to keep their heaviest users from overwhelming their network.

But Sprint isn't alone: its two 3G competitors also cap usage, and two wireline broadband operators are testing explicit caps as well. In the earliest days of broadband, service was either heavily capped, with ridiculously low limits--I recall DSL plans that had 1 GB monthly downstream limits for business-grade offerings--or totally uncapped.

Now, the idea of capped service with metered rates, stern warnings, or cancellations above a monthly limit are fully in fashion. For the last few years, companies like Comcast and Verizon's wired broadband division have warned users about excessive downloads, degraded their service, or canceled their accounts, often with little recourse, and sometimes denying it all the while. Enough states' attorneys general and FCC staff and commissioners have been involved that what was implicit has become explicit, but with the related effect that caps have become much lower than what they were in the ad hoc days before these changes. Driving all this is not scarcity, because there's plenty of headroom out there on the Internet, but two interrelated issues: service providers always dramatically oversell their service, and some users are actually abusers. ( But really how can one be an absuer when he pays for and uses what was advertised now?

On the first issue, if an ISP has 500 people connected to a central office DSLAM (a DSL aggregator) with a total downstream bandwidth of 2 Gbps, there's no universe in which a phone company makes available 2 Gbps to that location. Rather, they allot a fraction of that, which works when traffic is bursty, not continuous. Many people downloading or streaming a lot impact everyone in the same grouping. (I've seen this at home when I complained about my 3 Mbps DSL dropping to 500 Kbps at night. A Qwest technician explained I was lumped with heavy users, and with about 20 minutes of waiting on the phone, regrouped my line to another, less used pod of users, and my service has been fine since. The nice part is that was a logical change; no one had to walk over to a cage and move my wires around.)

The second issue has provoked a lot of debate. But without explicitly labeling the limits on a service, a subscriber can't technically abuse it. If you know when you sign up for Comcast that they limit your use to 10 GB and provide tools to monitor as well as an understanding of what that bandwidth would allow you to "consume" each month, it's a very different matter than "all you can eat. "

Verizon had long promised unlimited Broadband Access for their 3G EVDO mobile broadband service. But it was well documented that unlimited had fairly strict limits. After an investigation by the New York attorney general's office, Verizon agreed to change its disclosures, pay some costs to the state, and refund money to some subscribers. The company now fully discloses its 5 GB per month limit for combined upstream and downstream data. Verizon charges you 49 cents per MB ($490 per GB) when you cross that limit, and the company says that they use email, SMS, and a live data usage display in their connection manager to keep you apprised. Note that a single high-definition movie download might consume nearly 5 GB.AT&T, likewise, has a 5 GB cap each month on LaptopConnect, its 3G cell data offering, with unspecified behavior when you top that amount--additional charges may apply, but clarity would be helpful. They note in their PDF-only terms and conditions: "The parties agree that AT&T has the right to impose additional charges if you use more than 5 B in a month. Prior to the imposition of any additional charges, AT&T shall provide you with notice and you shall have the right to terminate your service."Sprint has joined this club with first the leaked news and then official confirmation that starting July 13, 2008, its 3G service would also have a 5 GB cap. A spokesperson told me that off-network roaming--ostensibly with Verizon or Alltel, the only other major providers of 3G in the US using the EVDO flavor--is capped at 300 MB per month. Now these are all 3G providers, who have limited spectrum over which they have to make sure all contending users in each cell get approximately the same kind of experience. They can't afford one user sucking down all bandwidth. However, we're seeing the same kinds of limits start to be tested for cable-based broadband.

Comcast is testing delaying traffic--slowing down packet transmission to throttle the bandwidth rate--in two Eastern cities they cover for the heaviest users of their service. This is an effective cap, rather than a cutoff. (Comcast has been delaying BitTorrent P2P traffic for all its users prior to this; this change affects all traffic, not just BitTorrent, and is being announced, instead of sub rosa.) In a town in Texas, Time Warner Cable is experimenting with offering different speed packages each of which is coupled with a monthly limit on usage. The lowest-priced package offers a ridiculous 768 Kbps downstream and 1 GB per month for $30 per month; the highest-priced is 15 Mbps downstream with a more reasonable 40 GB per month limit. Charges are $1 per GB above that. With cable companies traditionally and telephone companies newly offering television programming, premium channels, and on-demand video, the caps are another tool to prevent competition from over-the-Internet sources of things to watch. In a situation in which a few carriers control all the pieces, it's unclear whether rate caps can stick. If both telcos and cable companies decide to impose such limits and restructure their networks, who do you turn to? People with broadband are unlikely to cancel it. In a monopoly or duopoly market, you can't switch brands. There has to be a happy middle--a role that the FCC may help to negotiate. A 40 GB cap switched to 400 GB might serve precisely the right purpose without penalizing average users who have no other market choice. With Time Warner Cable charging a buck a gigabyte above their monthly limits in their test market, but with Amazon's S3 service delivering it retail for as little as a tenth that, it's not hard to see that carriers are looking to caps to solve network problems and make a little scratch on the side." http://news.yahoo.com/s/pcworld/20080615/tc_pcworld/146752

Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks, persons, civil and public servants, politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

(Prov 21:9 KJV) It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

Bullies, abusers, liars, slanderers tend to be clearly immoral persons who try to enslave others uancceptably even if they profess to be Christian or what ever,,

>>My ex-husband smokes pot and drinks a lot, and I am told, so does his girlfriend. He once told me that I am too righteous because I don’t drink or do drugs, and I attend church.

and that was a verbal abuse if I have ever seen one..

so do thank God daily that he has now removed your from this abusive relationship..

and do ask Him, God to take all the tears away and he will.

(Psa 4:8 KJV) I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

(Rev 21:4 KJV) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

and there still can be a good life after divorce with God’s help…

Truly any type of abuse is unacceptable and anywhere too

and exposing it loudly in public as well as calling the police is the best way to deal with it for everyone’s benefit, the abuser included.

God himself clearly does not accept verbal, physical, or human rights abuses

(Mat 18:6 KJV) But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

(Mat 18:7 KJV) Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

(Mat 18:8 KJV) Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

No we ALL cannot STOP, take the ostrich approach under the guise of love to the definite bad acts of others, we as Christians are still called to be fruit inspectors of those who profess to be Christians ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY RARELY QUOTE IT in actual context OR LIVE THE BIBLE THEY CLAIM THEY BELIEVE IN-

(Gen 31:42 KJV) Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.

(Lev 19:17 KJV) Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

(Neh 5:7 KJV) Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them.

(Psa 119:21 KJV) Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

(Prov 24:25 KJV) But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.

(Prov 27:5 KJV) Open rebuke is better than secret love.

(Eccl 7:5 KJV) It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

(Mat 17:18 KJV) And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

(Mark 1:25 KJV) And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

(Mark 4:39 KJV) And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

(Mark 8:33 KJV) But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

(1 Tim 5:20 KJV) Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

(2 Tim 4:2 KJV) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

(Titus 1:13 KJV) This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

(Titus 2:15 KJV) These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

(Heb 12:5 KJV) And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

"This is from the book by Patricia Evans http://andthenshecried.wordpress.com/2008/02/05/the-verbally-abusive-relationship-how-to-recognize-it-and-how-to-respond

Verbal abuse is a kind of battering which doesn’t leave evidence like physical abuse does. However, it can be just as painful, and recovery can take much longer. The victim of abuse lives in a gradually more confusing realm. In public she is with one man, in private he becomes another. Often, for the verbally abused woman (man), there is no witness to her reality and no one to understand her experiences. Friends and family continue to see her ex, the abuser, as a really good guy and, certainly, he agrees with them. The verbal abuser, while maintaining his charm with others, always takes his abuse behind closed doors. It is a means of holding power over his wife( husband) /partner.. Many women and some men leave a marriage and come back into the singles’ world with the diminished self-esteem that comes from a verbally abusive relationship. The fact that many of these women (men) have never even realized that they were being abused, makes it easy for them to enter another abusive relationship. A verbal abuser is an insecure person and immature person who is looking for power and control over another. In order to help you recognize abuse, remember that all forms of verbal abuse are methods of manipulating you for the purpose of establishing power over you. The following are some of the forms of verbal abuse the author helps you recognize.

Withholding: a purposeful, silent treatment.

Countering: a countering of your ideas, feelings, and perceptions, even going so far as to refute what he misconstrues you to have said.

Discounting–a putdown of you or something you hold dear.

Blocking and diverting–this is a sneaky, covert way of violating your dignity.

Accusation and blame: generally involves lies about the partner’s intentions, attitudes, and motives. The author states that accusation and blame is present in all verbally abusive relationships.

Judging and criticizing: lies about your personal qualities and performance.

Trivializing and undermining: abusive behavior which makes light of your work, your efforts, your interests, or your concerns. The abuser attempts to dilute meaning and value in your life. Undermining might occur when your partner laughs at you, for example, when you burn yourself cooking. It is also jokes at your expense. Undermining is occurring when you feel a “so-called joke” is mean rather than funny.

Name calling: no one has a right to call you degrading names. Name calling is verbal abuse.

Ordering: Telling you to do something, rather than asking, or making decisions for you or for the two of you without your input.

Forgetting and denial: the trickiest form of denial is forgetting. Become aware that forgetting is a form of denial that shifts all responsibility from the abuser to some “weakness of mind.”

Abusive anger: this seems to be closely linked to the need to “blow up,” to dominate, to control, to go one up, and to put down. Any time you are snapped at or yelled at, you are being abused.

Threatening: Physical threats and sexual threats aside, verbal threats are an effort at manipulation. For example, a threat to leave, stay out all night, or take you home immediately is a manipulation for power. The threat of “pending disaster” is designed to shatter the partner’s serenity as well as her boundaries.

If you counter the abuser or attempt to explain yourself, you will probably be met with such statements as, “I don’t want to hear it, get out of my face” or “Woman you don’t have the brains“, “B” You shouldn’t have said that to me“.

If you are in a brand-new relationship and see warning signs of verbal abuse, the author suggests you might be wise to let the relationship go. It is not likely that a man (woman) who needs to dominate and control will change easily, if at all. It is also likely that when the newness of the relationship wears off, he will become more abusive. Verbal abuse can become physical in time and physical abuse is always preceded by verbal abuse, according to Evans. If you are in a long-term relationship, you can respond to the abuser as the book suggests and soon discover for yourself whether or not your mate is willing to change and stop his abusive behavior.

“If you have been verbally abused in your relationship, you may have discovered that explaining and trying to understand have not improved your relationship. Therefore, I recommend that you respond in a new way–a way that will make an emotional, psychological, and intellectual impact upon your mate.”

The abuser in your relationship may change when he finds that you do know when you are being abused, that you have set limits, that you mean what you say, and that you will not take behavior you don’t like.

If the man ( or sadly too often now a women) in your relationship remains abusive, it is not only not your fault," it is your responsibility to deal with it, make it public, call the police too.

Any person cannot still fight with you of you leave his or her presences, even forever.. and there is still a good life after a failed marriage now too. I practise what I preach and often now too.

The first spouse, love seems is always the best one in our false pride.. and I know what that is like too.. WE SEEM ALL TO REPEAT OUR BAD TASTE, VALUES.. When they let a person out a prison they generally have a rule not to let them return to his old environment, past home, for five years.. otherwise they will be under the same old bad habits, dispositions too..

NOTE I lost once everything I had owned.. still next I replaced it all with the same things, even though I never used most of them, old habits and bad tastes DO die hard still too for almost all of us..

Now still reporting publically the abusers, and calling the POLICE TOO most often solves the abuse problem the best.. for if the evil persons do not feel real negative personal consequences, REAL negative public exposures, they really have no reasons to change their bad habits next and likely then never will.

I rightfully too tend to openly expose all abusers, all bad people, all bad churches, all bad politicians, all bad corporations that I come across, and often and I also do do call the police, regulating authorities often and demand they all be fired, be put in jail too.

I was also still surprised how popular this post now is too.

Terzomondista, dicono in molti.

A gospel that is even clearly contradictory to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the apostles as well? w

A gospel that is even clearly contradictory to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the apostles as well? while 2/3 of the world lives below the poverty line, and world wide many Christians do daily even suffer religious persecutions? so Why?

(1 John 2:15 KJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

(1 Cor 16:22 KJV) If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

(Mat 8:21 KJV) And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

(Mat 6:33 KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

(Mat 16:21 KJV) From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

(Mat 17:12 KJV) But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

(Mark 8:31 KJV) And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

(Luke 17:25 KJV) But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

(Luke 24:46 KJV) And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

(Acts 2:27 KJV) Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

(Acts 3:18 KJV) But those things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

(Acts 5:41 KJV) And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

(Acts 9:16 KJV) For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake

(Rom 8:17 KJV) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

(1 Cor 3:15 KJV) If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

(1 Cor 4:12 KJV) And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

(1 Cor 6:7 KJV) Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

(1 Cor 9:12 KJV) If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

(1 Cor 10:13 KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

(1 Cor 12:26 KJV) And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

(2 Cor 1:6 KJV) And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

(Gal 5:11 KJV) And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

(Gal 6:12 KJV) As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

(Phil 1:29 KJV) For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

(Phil 4:12 KJV) I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

(1 Th 3:4 KJV) For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

(2 Th 1:5 KJV) Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

(1 Tim 4:10 KJV) For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

(2 Tim 1:12 KJV) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

(2 Tim 2:9 KJV) Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

(2 Tim 2:12 KJV) If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

(2 Tim 3:12 KJV) Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

(Heb 2:9 KJV) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

(Heb 11:25 KJV) Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

(Heb 13:3 KJV) Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

(James 5:10 KJV) Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

(1 Pet 2:19 KJV) For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

(1 Pet 2:20 KJV) For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

(1 Pet 3:14 KJV) But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

(1 Pet 3:17 KJV) For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

(1 Pet 4:15 KJV) But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

(1 Pet 4:16 KJV) Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

(1 Pet 4:19 KJV) Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

(Rev 2:10 KJV) Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Also

(Mat 19:14 KJV) Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 23:13 KJV) But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

(Mark 7 KJV) 10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: 11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. 12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

The Assemblies of God Pentecostal supporters, members are noted for their opposition to the Florida Lakeland revival, and to the Latter day movement.. but why?

and like many other Pentecostals, Alliance, Baptist, Evangelcial Churches they falsey do not include helping poor people in their own churches as an essential Christian doctrine now too? why?

(Rom 15:26 KJV) For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

Aku jadi berpikir, kok aneh yah?

Sampai sini aja ah tulisanku.

Wah, jangan-jangan aku mau dituntut nih...

Phorm (www.phorm.com) believes it can rewrite the way Internet advertising is planned, bought and

Phorm (www.phorm.com) believes it can rewrite the way Internet advertising is planned, bought and sold. However, Phorm needs the co-operation of its ISP partners to succeed. In return, Phorm’s plans give these ISPs a share of fast-growth Internet advertising for the first time. This said, the user/ISP relationship is fragile due to privacy issues which may hold up progress, and Phorm needs to gain support of all the major ISP's to ensure success.

Phorm has developed a platform, the Open Internet Exchange, which enables display advertisers on the Internet to target individual users based on their web browsing history (including, but not limited to, current page views). The business model is based on a revenue-sharing partnership with Internet service providers (‘ISPs’) and the company has exclusive arrangements with the top three in the UK, covering 70% of broadband users.

In the US the value of behaviourally targeted online advertising (BTOA) is expected to double to US$1bn during 2008 and then to almost quadruple to US$3.8bn by 2011. According to eMarketer.com (June 2007), this positions behavioural targeting as one of the fastest-growth segments of the expanding online advertising market. In the UK, BTOA could reach 12% of total Internet advertising by 2010, i.e. £528m, according to Andrew Walsh, Media Research Analyst at Landsbanki Securities (www.landsbanki.com).

Whether Phorm has the impact that the research suggests may well depend primarily on ISP's validating the financial benefits of a revenue-share model. However, with the top 3 ISP's already ensuring that the majority of the broadband market is under "exclusive arrangements" with Phorm, it seems the biggest question remains how the consumer proposition will be defined by the ISP's so as to reassure users and how the ISP's will seek a competitive advantage in the way they present this relationship as part of their offer (e.g. lower prices, more relevant advertising, etc.).

My guess is the ISP's will cooperate and as a result consumers will need to use their collective "voice" to ensure they benefit from this intrusion on their privacy.

One good thing about managed ADSL internet services is that you get great service compared to unmanaged ADSL internet services. I experienced weeks of wasted time on both types of services. Managed services feel right now that it is not worth the money I am paying.

On Friday our network tanked. Prior to Friday our network was out typical in the mornings for about a half an hour before 8am, and then intermittently throughout the day for minutes or even seconds. After Friday, our network was down for hours, and maybe up for minutes and even an hour.

We have three major internet requirements on Sunday; our countdown clocks, our online POS, and uploading our sermons to the internet. In order to run our countdown clocks and POS I used some cellular internet routers for the two computers that performed those functions for us. We decided to upload our sermons at Starbucks. The cellular internet worked really well for us, and was a especially good for bookstore sales. At Starbucks we were able to upload our sermons too.

On Monday a Bell technician, who is responsible for the phone lines, was supposed to be the hero and repair our ADSL lines. However, they tested really good. The Bell guy split pretty quickly after those tests. I called Telus, who provides our ADSL service, and they sent the same tech they did on Friday who replaced all our ADSL equipment with no change. Our internet was still down. There was some sync issue.

On Wednesday supposedly Bell and Telus will work together to get my internet up. They could not visit on Tuesday cause it is a Canadian holiday, but staff will be in to work on July 1st. I hope they get it up and running on Wednesday cause I am supposed to be out of the office (for my wedding) until Tuesday.

Ya. Penat la bulan ni. Macam-macam perkara telah berlaku. Nak ikutkan..bulan-bulan lain pun penat ju

Ya. Penat la bulan ni. Macam-macam perkara telah berlaku. Nak ikutkan..bulan-bulan lain pun penat jugak..tapi ah, aku tak buat blog pasal bulan-bulan lain kan.

Bulan Jun adalah bulan yang penting, both for personal and work reasons.

1. Majlis Nikah dan Sanding Una

Una dah kawen dan Su dah tunang. =(( Tinggal daku seorang ! Takpe, takpe..

2. Keperluan Shopping Yang Hebat

Yela, name pon marketing..jumpa orang ramai. Effort nak mencomelkan diri (ataupun mengurangkan ketidakcomelan) kene lebeyyyy sket, ye tak ? 3 hari dok kat Parkroyal, tetiap ari aku gi shopping kat Sg Wang, Times Square, Lot 10, etc etc. Yahuuuuuuuuuu!

Okey selain dari shopping..workshop ni banyak membantu dari segi memberi input tentang merekabentuk promotional materials seperti flyers, brochure, poster, media advertisement, radio advertisement, etc etc, especially for start-up or new companies. So bila buat kerja grouping pun, semua jadik seronok! Dan idea-idea merapu lagi mengarut pon klua. Hehe, cayalah.

Plus, group aku menang Best Radio Advertisement! =D ..walaupun saya watak sampingan je. Ngee...

4. National Seminar for Incorporated Society of Planters 2008 in Pulau Wan Man, Kuala Terengganu

Pulau Wan Man tu sebenarnya bukanlah sebuah pulau seperti Pulau Perhentian, mahupun Pulau Pandan Jauh Ketengah.

Tapi sesungguhnya memang penat aku melayan pakcik-pakcik gatal kat exhibition tu. Boss aku memang bijak. Die tau yang datang ISP ni rata-ratanya lelaki, so die bawak perempuan muda sebagai 'pemanis'. Dahtu Boss suruh pakai glemer-glemer, mekap bagai. Oh, aku rasa sungguh dieksploitasikan! (kerana akulah perempuan muda tersebut, sekian terima kasih) Hahaaaaa. Tapi taktik Boss tu agak berkesan. Men are so predictable *rolls eyes*.

Disclaimer: Aku tidak mengaku chantek. Mengaku perempuan dan mengaku muda sahaja. Harap tiada salah faham di situ.

5. My Birthday Crab

Yes, it was my birthday on the 17th of June. Happy Birthday to me, bla bla bla. May we all remember that we are not getting any younger. Masa semakin suntuk untuk bertaubat ! Wahhhhh...muhasabah diri gitu.

Tahun ni, besday sampai semasa di Kuala Terengganu. So instead of a Birthday Cake, I got a Birthday Crab(s). Yes, that's right. My Boss treated me (and the other 12 people in the 'entourage') to a round of seafood platters including a big plate of Steamed Crab in Pantai Kelulut. In the middle of.. er, well, supper (it was 11pm) my Boss got up and mysteriously disappeared..only to come back with a crab with a candle stuck on top of it. Haha.

Well no..it was actually a bowl of tiramisu ice-cream since she couldn't find cake anywhere. But the crab with a candle would have been cool huh? Ngee.. =D Anyway, thanx a lot Boss! You're one cool Boss, that's fo sho. Cuz after the Kuala Terengganu trip, there was a farewell party for another staff which also included a proper birthday cake for me, Zul and Wak, sponsored by the Boss. How cool is she?

The best one though, is that *someone* hid a card and present in my luggage for me to find while I was away in Kuala Terengganu. He also made it like a treasure hunt for me..clues and all. Ah, love makes the world go round, yeah? ;D Thank you so much Abang!

6. This is getting too long.

Okay okay. I'll try to stop. The last thing is, now it's the end of the month and I'm all jet-lagged even though I haven't been on a flight recently. So many events crammed in one month.

The most recent news is: My apartment has been just recently cleared and ready for new inhabitants, a.k.a, housemates. It's been so long since I've had housemates, and truth be told, I'm actually dreading it a little bit. Rasa macam malas nak deal with other people's habits, after years of living with random people during my time in UiTM. But bagus gak, takdela aku dok sorang-sorang lagi, plus bolehla wat profit sket dari rumah tu. And now I already have a housemate! I'm living with an ex-classmate from UiTM, baru je sehari. Hehe. So far it's all great.

Oh gosh, keje kat ofis setia menanti walaupon pergi travel, rumah tak overhaul lagi lepas balik dari outstation, baju-baju tak kemas lagi, hujan lebat tak benti-benti, plus nak ejas-ejas rumah untuk housemate baru..

Sesungguhnya, 30 Hari Yang Penat!

The irony of the current parallel engagements of the UK ISPs with both the film and TV industries an

The irony of the current parallel engagements of the UK ISPs with both the film and TV industries and the music industries is that their conversations are coming from completely different directions. The ISPs are running to the broadcasters and complaining about the BBC's iPlayer and the imminent Kangaroo player which will have ITV and Channel 4 content on it as well. The complaint is very clear - you are soaking up all our bandwidth and gaining revenue at our expense. In the case of the BBC - the argument is uniquely British - you are fulfilling your Public Service Charter by reaching more people in the community at the expense of commercial service providers who are having to "subsidise" the additional bandwidth usages. In the case of the commercial broadcasters, the argument could be even simpler, but equally difficult to resolve: you are raising ad revenue through programs transmitted not on your broadcast network but on our broadband network - we want a piece of that.

In the case of the music companies the argument is the exact opposite. The music folk are going to the ISPs and saying - you are making money out of our content. All this p2p activity on your networks is illegal and it's not yielding us rights owners a penny, while you continue to compete with each other on better bandwidth for your buck packages. We want some of your money.

Seems to me, given the size and health of the respective industry sectors and the general balance of power in the cultural stakes, that the music companies might be a lot better served trying to persuade the p2p folk to go legal and share the ad revenues accordingly - or to try to persuade the ISPs that only legal, ad revenue or subscription revenue bearing schemes should be allowed on their networks and illegal p2p should be closed down - and then negotiating for the right splits.

That would of course require that the music companies be prepared to license a few services to show the ISPs that they mean business. At the moment, they seem very concerned about doing that. Let's hope that the majors don't go try to down the usual control and command route and offer some home-brewed service of their own, but act on some of their words and collaborate with some of the new businesses out there that might just add value to the whole sector - given the right licensing terms.

Perhaps for the first time, the Music industry could be unified enough and easy enough to deal with so that it might make common cause with film and tv - rather than lagging behind them in the commercial stakes. But even so, it will need to back some players - wether they be last.fm or playlouder in the UK - to be the added value providers on top of the network capabilities of the ISPs. That means new players in a new value-chain and margins that might be not end up being all that different from the old distributor and retail cuts...

Subject: Dealing effectively with complaints, problems, bad service , ISP provider-

…

The Written Complaints are always an important way to identify areas of much needed improvement, and they can lead to significant improvements eventually.

You might be so dissatisfied with your phone company, ISP provider, or whatever? and next most persons will simply transfer their account immediately to another firm, another service provider entirely, but beware you may still have to deal with the penalty for breaking the contract, and in reality such an approach does not do anything to alleviate or likely help the same problem that many other customers next will also have. If you help to deal with it all now properly it may all take more time but in the end it will generally, if done right, next bring positive changes and great regards for and from other now as well.

Some of the most common areas of complaints, difficulty are as follow:

Advertisements - for complaints about the truth, accuracy, ethics or legality of advertisements, as well as confusing or unclear labeling directions, contact the Minister of Consumer Affairs

Bills - for complaints about problems with your phone bill, or ISP in the first instance you should contact the telephone or ISP service provider. If you are not satisfied with their response then contact not only the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman but many others as well.. You might also want to contact the nearest office of your federal, state, provincial consumer affairs ministry now too..

Fixed Line or Mobile Phone Contracts - The actual contract that supplies you with a mobile or fixed line telephone is a trade agreement. These come under contract law and contracts are sometimes disputed as being either unfair or unfulfilled. In these cases, again you should firstly contact the organization with whom you signed the contract. If you are not satisfied with their response then again, contact the nearest office of the Department of Consumer affairs.

The Quality of the Telephone Service or ISP now . Again, in the first instance you should always take up any complaint regarding the quality of the telephone service with your service providers as well as to the others.

Radio and Television Program Content For radio or television broadcast program content (not advertising), the federal Broadcasting Authority is generally responsible for ensuring that programs ‘reflect community standards’. They all will asks that you first make your complaint directly to the broadcaster concerned. They say that if a station fails to answer your written complaint within thirty days, or if you are otherwise still not happy with their response, you should then contact them,

How to Make an Effective Complaint - General Rules

..

The first simple, honest step is to contact the organization that you do have the problem with, and to tell them next preferably always in writing next too, specially that you want to make a complaint and you are also going to detail it in writing to them and to many others for further references now too.

..

Before making the specific contact, - make sure you do now have a clear idea about exactly what you are going to ask them. tell them. Do generally take some detailed, specific notes and do have them in front of you so you don’t get distracted or next forget any part of the essential information you want to share with them too. If possible, do also have a proposed resolution to your complaint that you would be fully happy with and present this to them too. Assemble a pen first now, and all the information that might be necessary for you to refer to, in front of you, out it all in writing on a page even before you call, including the initial telephone number, account number and billing address and next also the subsequent references given to you. . If you are calling about a specify phone or ISP account, bill, try to make sure you have a reference copy of it in front of you. The more prepared you are for the first telephone call, the more likely you will also need it when you have call back again later. Rarely does even phone call or one letter suffice. Do talk also to your friends, neighbors, and do also see if they had the same problem now too.

..

You do try to phone them firm first and follow it up with a confirming letter next too. Do Stay in control always without being interrupted or distracted by the others. State your case as calmly as possible, and note this do even repeat it to them especially if they are not listening to you, or if they as usual falsely try to lie to you, try to divert the topics, your complaint now. However, you should always plan to make a telephone call when you are feeling in full control, time to deal with the problem..

..

Have a pen and paper ready in front of you. Take note always of the date and tie time you call, how long you waited before your call was answered, how long you had talked for and the name of the person you spoke to. In the future it might be even helpful for you to monrtstily bill the same firm for wasting your time in their not addressing the problem. That should get their notice now next too and show how serious you are in getting the problems, conflict resolve in an adequate manner now still too.

...

Remember always that when presenting most complaints it takes some time, prepare to be ready for the time to pass, but do know also as to how to handle the false delays. Send them always next with a copy to others a reminder letter, email that you are waiting for an adequate response to your specific complaint for a start.

When any person does experience service or equipment problems, their resulting dissatisfactions, complaints now can be often even more compounded by them not being able to directly firstly to talk to or to deal with anyone that is really helpful about the problem, in a position of authority to do so now, even firstly now without waiting for hours on the telephone for a firm’s initial or subsequent responses - note the delays sometimes this is a deliberate act by the firms to discourage you from initially now making the complaint. The reality thus often still is that you may always need to wait a long while before your phone call is answered and if you can’t now really wait, your next numerous unsuccessful attempts also to speak with someone will ultimately not only waste your time but will also increase your frustration. Anger can be a common reaction the reality that the service and equipment problems that too often are not quickly and effectively solved, or one too often being cut off over and over again, or rather buck passed, transferred to others again and again, or put on hold or the telephone phones are answered by electronically generated voice systems that lyingly promise to return your call now are also rightfully extremely annoying..

..

A common false tactic now used by too many firms, municipalities, services is to try to cut you off the phone or your post , by lyingly finding some excuse to deal with you even like saying that you are rude or what ever. Merely repeat to them calmly your specific request stating that you want to talk to someone that can effectively help you with your specific complaints and can you be passed to that person, manager? If at any time you feel you are becoming upset, cool down, and remind yourself why you are calling, what you are doing. Simply using the free , holding time to write down the basic complaints, details even for their later use if nerd be. Ask for their name, the name of their managers, and their email now as well and tell them you intend to write about it, posting your complaint to others, on the net as well. If they cut you off, a normal course of action from the much too many bad firms and their bad customer service departments these days too now, persist and get a proper mailing address still.

..

Complaining by phone, or face to face generally means there is no undeniable record of the event, even that it had now ever occurred, transpired. Some how many more persons next do tend to be responsive when the see the undeniable complaint in writing, but not always. Thus the Follow up letters are also generally essential. Do always resort to writing letters with copies to the related managers, and your local elected representatives, news media so they too ALL can be informed and ALL CAN act upon it.

..

The problem also with using just the phone to deal with a complaint, is that there is no record of what really has happened especially when the outcomes now are too often mostly negative. Do still understand that there are much too many unrepentant, pretentious firms that hire too many liars to defy the complaints, truths. Even here your witnessed public exposure will help to bring this out into the open, to light so others can deal with it effectively too. No one can deny your own personal witness if detailed in writing now too. The Pen is always mightier than the sword still too these days.

Appropriate disclosures to the right parties, the persons who have the power to make changes, executives, news media, elected officials, regulating bodies too can work wonders next too.

..

A good complaint letter will probably help you to get the best results quicker. A signed written complaint, with at least your full name, address and telephone number is always important, effective even on one made by e-mail. You should receive an adequate, serious written response within a reasonable time period at the most within 30 days at the most if not sooner. It is always best to write a letter to the company outlining your concerns, an email is acceptable as long as you send copies of it to others. Do also Request that they reply to your complaint in writing and keep their letter in case you need it in future.

..

According to Ellen Phillips, author of Shocked, Appalled and Dismayed! How to Write Letters of Complaint, the most effective letters of complaint include some of these five key elements:

Direct a copy of the the letter to the highest-ranking person in the organization as well and to the Consumer and Government Organizations as well:

Construct a strong opening sentence even as to what you want, expect from them, and do sate it to be done within a reasonable period of time too.

Describe the problem complaint concisely and factually including any steps you have already taken

Clearly do also Imply that the company will not only lose your business but hat of many others too for you will share it with them too. Tell them that you also now cannot be sued by anyone of posting or for telling the truth. That you also do welcome any subsequent threats of a lawsuit as it will being the whole matter into the open and give it more much needed publicity too.

Do Place all the responsibility for resolving the complaints with the recipient and their related mangers even for their rightfully blame in their failure to solve the problem you had rightfully addressed to them already too.

If the telephone or internet service provider does not solve your problem you could also contact one of the relevant external complaint-handling agencies: If any of them now do not resolve your problem for you in a way that you are happy with, you can and often should take the process even a step further and all in writing now too, meanwhile also making the whole process publically posted on the internet, available to the news media and the local elected officials will also help to weed out the much too many pretentious pretentious bad regulators as well. I have rightfully followed all this myself too now. The darkness tends to hate the light , being exposed to all.

YOUR RIGHT TO END THE CONTRACT WHEN IT CHANGES. When your contract with your mobile, internet, fixed-line or VoIP (net phone) service provider changes, often you will have a right to end the contract early without having to pay additional fees (eg cancellation or termination fees). Your original contract has been breached, changed if monthly access fees or call rates increase and also if download limits or free monthly call credits have been reduced. Firms that breach a contract can now also expect a penalty payment now to you as well for doing so. See also basic contract laws.

Public exposure and prosecuting of the major guilty, bad persons, firms, serves everyone’s best interest always too.
..

As a consumer, it is often still difficult to know where to go to resolve complaints, disputes, especially if something you have bought goes wrong, the cost of going to court, the hassle, it is often more than your purchase is worth but now there is a much cheaper and often effective approach, use the internet, for all justice is not necessary better handle in the court of laws, and that approach is still full public exposure.

OK, it isn’t quite a promised, but if one doesn’t look too closely, the idea of expecting something like 8mb and actually only getting 1mb due to factors such as distance from the telephone exchange, electrical interference etc can be a particular pain.

Something that has come to my attention of late is BT’s, ‘The iPlate.’ This will help reduce electrical interference and can be fitted into the master socket at home.

So, if being too far from the telephone exchange is not the issue, maybe other electrical devices in the area are causing substantial drops in broadband speeds.

The cost of the device is being touted at around £10, but it will more than likely be given away free by ISP’s to customers experiencing connection speed type issues.

Just something else to think about!

...

Don't make the mistake thinking, believing that all of these supposedly professing Christian Internet sites have no hidden agenda, or that they are fair, honest, and they do allow everyone to talk openly freely on the posted subject now too, or the rather too often the posted lies and distortions. Best way to catch a sucker is with live, good looking bait still too. For in reality too often the right of FREE SPEECH that right still that is not so for all of us. Not on the all of the professing Christians sites now as well..

..

Speaking of hidden agendas. And what are some common examples of them? Promotion of self? Promotion of pet theology? Basing others to make oneself feel better hopefully? Working for the devil? etc.,

"Pride and humility are two of the most basic distinguishing characteristics between the true and the false." http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:mzLW88CKXgYJ:www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word/5039+Elijah+list+Rick+Joyner

BUT FOR SURE YOU CAN FIRST ADD TO THAT "the real love of others" or rather too often it's lack of thereof?

>>"I firmly believe that Latter Rainers like Wagner, Bentley, et al all subscribe to the idea that Christ will return in Spirit only which in essence denies his incarnation identifying them as antichrist." http://endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com/2008/06/27/rick-joyner-the-apostle-paul-and-the-antichrist/

DO NOTE HERE ABOVE WAS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF HOW THE AUTHOR HAD FALSELY DESIGNATED HIS OPINION AS BEING THAT OF HIS OPPONENTS.. but the author did not mention if he had contacted the person he was talking with firstly before as well, or of he had sent to him a copy of the DISSECTION now too? To be fair, and decent about it all too.

still such unsubstantiated false presuppositions statement of his now destroys any creditability he may want us too believe he now has firstly too!!

Before anyone tries to bash EVEN the Pentecostals still..

TELL ME HOW LONG THEY HAVE BEEN GOING TO A PENTECOSTAL CHURCH FIRSTLY ? FOR HOW MANY YEARS TOO?

IF YOU HAD READ MY POSTS YOU WOULD HAVE ALSO KNOWN I ALREADY HAVE SAID THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY.. THE TRUTH AND THE DISTORTION..

Like I have said…Now too often I myself also do not agree with the comments, free speech, but I merely tend to disregard it it next..

but what I do rightfully oppose still any and all free speech especially on the so called Christian Churches Internet sites, that is lying, slanderous, insulting, abusive, bullying, bashing.. such as the false bash of Pentecostals by the Brethren, Baptists, Reformed, etc., haters. Or the supposedly evangelical Baptist pastor who had said in the pulpit that he could not understand what Hitler did that was so bad, I helped to fire him , he now sells life insurance instead..

So many Churches, sites claim to be the sole Christian truth now these days, they are using the same Bible too, they even claim they are non denominational Christians, but they do still preach a different Jesus, a different Bible, a different sound too.. and their theology is easily identifiable too clearly as dispensationalist, Baptist or Brethren as well.. and not honestly a non denominational one as they had claimed to all even this listed site included now.. are guilty of deciet. I firmly and rightfully do believe that all of these Pentecostals bashers, bullies, do know of God, but they personally still do not know Him.

In love the Pentecostal bashers, critics under disguise of supposedly posting the truth, who mostly still do use the same unoriginal, ungodly, lame-brained, fool’s types of arguments, are not only clearly dishonest, uninspired, boring but they do also mostly have a personal agenda that is so transparent that sadly they are a basic embarrassment, their agenda clear involves the fact want to uplift themselves, their own gospel, sect, denomination mostly still as well. In love they should really read and practice the whole Bible firstly themselves.

http://christiantheology.wordpress.com/2008/06/28/god-said-to-me/ When people attempt to subjectively add to that word, by saying God said this or God told me that, they may be in danger of becoming false prophets? So are also many of the poeople who deny that God had spoken to the others.. all as simple as that too..

God speaks to us through many ways.. He speaks through his words, the Bible, through his holy spirit, through pastors, through others, through other means.. but no matter how God now speaks to us we all do need to be the ones open to hear him and to also to obey him in what he says, plus to continually seek Him continuously and to seek His way. Whether he speaks in a still small voice, or in a a loud external voice, he still speaks to us all today.. By the way I can tell the difference between God is speaking to me, the Holy Spirit is speaking to me and Jesus speaking to me too, or the devil, or my own thoughts, and can we all ?

Clearly one of the unique, great, valid emphasis of the Pentecostals from the other denominations is also their emphasis on personally hearing God speak. even personally and collectively speaking to us, verbally individually or in a collective setting by prophecy.

For a complete discussion on the Voice of the Lord, see My Sheep Hear My Voice. We all must strive unto perfection unto Holiness but the truth in Christ is we can never be free from sin totally here on earth, for we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the po
