I will mix one teaspoon of oil into the relaxer.
I will detangle my hair before the relaxer.
I will apply coconut oil and vaseline to the pre-relaxed ends.
I will apply Aphogee 2 min after rinsing out the relaxer for 2 minutes and then shampoo with ORS Aloe 6 times, leaving each shampoo on for 1 minute (and the last shampoo on for five)
I will leave the relaxer on my head for 20minutes approx.
I will smooth for2 minutes
I will not overlap smoothing this time(my hair isamply relaxed).
I will deep condition with PanteneR&N for 2 hours post relaxer.

The Bible is pretty clear about its purity.  So… why is it that so many of our spiritual leaders are experts in that very thing?  Why is it that when it comes to money, our spiritual leaders loose sight of what the Bible really says about the concept of “giving?”

I love to trace the origin of things; it is a nasty habit of mine.  It seems to get me into quite a bit of “trouble” with those trapped in institutionalized ministry.  That’s okay, tough; Jesus was a revolutionary too.  My sincere desire is to restore the credibility of the Bible to a society that has lost trust in the bible.  They have lost trust in the Bible due to the fact that many, if not most, spiritual leaders have “corrupted” the Word of God.  They have made it (the Bible) espouse something that it has never endorsed; namely – tithing.

Our spiritual leaders love to quote Malachi 3: 8-10 in an effort to make you “feel” bad if you don’t tithe.  But… what is really being addressed in these verses, anyhow?  Here is the passage; I will explain its historical context:

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Tithing does appear in the Bible, but never in reference to the Church Age believer.  It was given to the Jewish people in order to take care of the poor and the widows among them.  It was also used to support the priests (from the tribe of Levi), because the Levites were not given an inheritance of the land.  It was the responsibility of the people to take care of the priests.

There were three kinds of “tithes” instituted by the LORD for the Jewish people.  You can liken it to the taxing system of our country. 

1.       There was a tithe for the priests. (Leviticus 27:30-33 / Numbers 18:21-31)

2.      There was a tithe to sponsor the religious festivals in Jerusalem. (Deut. 14:22-27)

3.      There was a tithe collected every 3^rd year for the local Levites, orphans, strangers and widows. (Deut. 14:28-29 / 26:12-13)

This tithe came to a grand total of 23.3 percent.  I bet your religious leader doesn’t “tithe” that much.  But, even if he did, it is not a commandment for the Church Age believer.  These Old Testament passages, that deal with Israel, should never be used to “guilt” anyone into taking part in that which is unbiblical (a manipulated tithe).  If one wants to give 10 percent of their income that is fine; I have no problem with that.  You have been given liberty in Christ.  My point is that we need to let the Bible be our source of truth, and not any man-made institution of religion.

Didn’t Abraham Tithe?

Many people like to refer to Abraham as an example of “Biblical” tithing (Genesis 14:17-20).  Well… there are three problems with that line of thinking. 

First, Abraham’s tithe was not a pattern; it was given after a hard fought victory against his enemies.  It was not coerced or forced.  It was completely voluntary.

Second, his “tithe” was not money in particular; but the spoils that were his due to the battle he had won.  This is sort of like tithing on the lottery after your number was the one that punched the winning ticket.

Third, this is the only instance of Abraham “tithing” in the entirety of his 175 years upon the earth.  IT WAS NOT A WEEKLY PATERN of any kind.

So… how and why are you to give?  The Bible answers that question for a Church Age believer in II Corinthians 9:7.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

So... What Do I Do, Then?

You are to give WHEN you like, WHENEVER you like, to WHOMEVER you like, and as MUCH as you like.  Here is the only catch:  Make sure that it is given by a correct motive (as he purposeth in his heart).  Giving is one way you can be used of God to be a blessing to others for the glory of God.  Be creative, and watch for where God is working.  You can be a great blessing to someone in a tremendous time of need.  If that is where you attend, then… so be it.  The decision of how much, when, where, and to who, is totally between you and God.

Things are looking up in the world these days. I have a newfound sense of optimism that only yesterday was looking at a life expectancy of a recent Britney Spears fetus. Most of it's due to the improbable collapse of the Evil Empire last night. Like anything that's offensive to the human spirit (i.e., the Third Reich, slavery, American Idol), the destruction of the Patriots was a sign of the Jungian collective unconscious (thank you, Ben) restoring justice in the world. But there's one more Evil that must be overcome before we can all breathe easy. As you should know, tomorrow represents a critical juncture in deciding where this country will be collectively for the next four (maybe even eight) years. If you can't vote because you are underage, a convicted felon, or morbidly obese (there should be a law), please use your karmic energy to prevent the wicked witch of the South from getting a stranglehold on our babies. A discussion quickly turned into a heated argument yesterday between a female co-worker and Male Army Corp Of Engineer employee. In an attempt to separate the two, I placed my hand on the USACE guys shoulder to grab his attention. He quickly turned his rage towards me and demanded that I be arrested for assaulting him. 

No worries, though, a handful of witnesses all signed statements indicating that this guy was acting hostile and I was acting in defense of the co-worker. By the end of the day, I was in the clear. 

Lesson leared - next time, I will refrain from touching someone unless the feeling is mutual.

Hey Fucker,
So there was that power outage yesterday where eight stations went
down simultaneously leaving millions of people in the dark. Two of the
stations were nuclear power plants. Something similar happened a few
years ago in New York and they said it was because the power grids were
connected. In addition there have been a plethora of UFO sightings
recently, a rash of "meteorites" making it into the earth's atmosphere, as
well as that satellite we had to shot down last week. This is all
information that was reported on CNN. The "sightings" and the "meteorites"
were recorded and witnessed by many, many people. WELL, the Pentagon
came out this year (I saw the press conference) and declared that this
decade was the beginning of cyber-warfare due to China hacking into the
Pentagon's mainframe, and Russia attacking one of it's neighbor's. In
the situation with Russia, they hack into normal old P.C.'s and turn them
into "zombies" (there term, not mine) where the P.C.'s will all turn
on at the same time and flood the countries servers, in this instance it
was financial servers. It shut down the entire countries financial
structure for a day.
It is my humble opinion that the coincidence yesterday was
actually an attack from a foreign power or a homegrown group (we all know
Florida's place in Bush's election). I know it sounds paranoid, but I shit
you not, after I texted you CNN ran a story about how every major
computer system in America has been hacked by homegrown or foreign interests
at this point. The Pentagon is at a loss as to how to deal with it. Or
so they claim. Sleep well.
